Nestled in the lush green slopes of the Willamette Valley, Vino Ventures Wine tours offers views of the surrounding countryside and the adjacent Columbia River Gorge. Oregon is one of the greenest states in the nation, and wine grapes growing in this region burst with flavor. Whether you’re looking for a weekend getaway or a simple day trip with a group of friends, Vino Ventures offers private tours for groups of varying sizes.

Vino Ventures Customizable Wine Tours

The Willamette Valley wine tours are private and can be booked year-round, any day of the week. Our tours accommodate up to 14 people and take about 6 hours. For more intimate tours, the “Pinot” tour accommodates 6 people, while the Columbia tour fits up to 14 people in a luxury shuttle bus. All vehicles feature comfortable seating and DVD players, so passengers stay entertained between stops. Tours last 5-6 hours and can be customized based on your needs. During your tour, we will bring you to 3-4 different locations. You and your friends select the tasting locations based on what wine you want to try.

The Willamette valley is famous for its Pinot Noir grapes, but it also offers many other varieties for those in your party who like to try something different. Maybe a wine connoisseur in your party enjoys the spiced, robust flavor of a Malbec? Or, perhaps, someone appreciates the lighter, crisp notes of a Sauvignon Blanc. Plan your tour so everyone gets to taste his or her favorite variety. If you can’t decide, let us know, and we will help plan a wine-tasting tour as memorable as the wine.

Explore the World-Famous Sights and Tastes of Oregon Wine Country

Tours explore world-famous locations throughout the Willamette Valley, like Dundee Hills, Yamill-Carlton district, and Columbia River Gorge wineries. This part of Oregon wine country is a leading location for vineyards. It is also home to two-thirds of all wineries in the state. Because the valley is in the western part of Oregon, it is sheltered from the drier climate to the east.

Additionally, grapes in this region have a longer growing season. The cool, humid air and mild winters produce some of the most famous Pinot Noir grapes in the world. There are many luxury resorts and Bed and Breakfasts in the area, so tourists enjoy longer stays and visits to Portland, which is just 45 minutes away.

Vino Ventures makes it easy for wine lovers to explore the Willamette valley whenever they have a day off. Our tours are available every day of the week, so if you are looking for a relaxing Saturday after a busy workweek, we are more than happy to oblige. We offer walk-on wine tours, too. They don’t have to be booked a week in advance, and you’re free to change the number of guests. If you’re escaping with your girl friends for the weekend, or you want to bring your whole family along, we can’t wait to see you.
